Eddie and the Dirty Dogs

Eddie and the Dirty Dogs by Herbie Brennan is a hilarious tale about private detective 'Eddie the duck' and what happens when he is asked to investigate the kidnapping of a dog by the glamorous French poodle Fifi.

Eddie and the Dirty Dogs is sold as a book for developing readers, but has lots of jokes and puns for grown ups, and is perhaps best read by a grown up to a child aged between five and seven years.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book to my daughter, and she enjoyed listening to it. The illustrations are plentiful and colourful for children reading the book alone. In summary. A cracking good read! 10/10.

Eddie and the Dirty Dogs is published by Puffin books and is priced at £3.99.
